Damaged luggage and refused to pay


This airline is constantly late, but they are cheap so I fly with them. However, o my last flight they did about $40 USD worth of damage to my surfboard. Another person on the flight had a damaged surfboard as well. I asked them to repair it and they refused. After negotiating for over 3 hours, the finally said they will repair it if we do the repair in Bali. The staff didn't want to do the repair because there is so much paperwork. I was leaving the same day for America, so I couldn't hang around Bali waiting for my board to get repaired. So they refused to pay for it. The staff was so unhelpful it was hard to believe. They wouldn't reimburse me for the extra luggage costs, give me airline credit toward my next flight, or allow me o send them an invoice from the repair. They didn't even have a phone for me o call customer service, so I had to call long distance on my cell phone! Worst airline experience I've ever had.
