  • Damaged luggage and refused to pay

    This airline is constantly late, but they are cheap so I fly with them. However, o my last flight they did about $40 USD worth of damage to my surfboard. Another person on the flight had a damaged surfboard as well. I asked them to repair it and they refused. After negotiating for over 3 hours, the finally said they will repair it if we do the repair in Bali. The staff didn't want to do the repair because there is so much paperwork. I was leaving the same day for America, so I couldn't hang around Bali waiting for my board to get repaired. So they refused to pay for it. The staff... More...

  • Robbed

    We arrive back at Bali on wed august 5th We pick up bag from carousel in Bali and our bag was opened. When we get home to Inn Grand Bali hotel we find shoes (Value $250 Australian dollars) missing and Ladies makeup bag (Value $200 Australian Dollars) missing We are sure this happened at Lombok airport We are so angry and now feel very sad we have trusted your airline and we were robbed Our friend on our flight was also robbed as well of shoes and ladies items as well.   • Staff so Rude

    I suppose to depart from cgk to kul by Malindo at 1.15pm-4.20 pm but my flight got delay 40 minutes. I have another flight where the bording time is 6.10pm with air asia on the same day. When I spoke to the staff named Ms Ratna at jakarta airport she handled well by saying will check with her colleague but another staff name Mr Zico was super rude by not even greet me but just showed his eyes and straight said this is your own responsibility and just walked away not even apologising.     it is proven until to date that, i have never experienced a sheer of punctuality from this poorly managed company. again, this plane has given me a couple-hours delayed flight on 17 October at 9.45 without any information or at least words of comfort for passengers.     I booked a ticket for 4th September 2014 on the 2nd through a tour travel agent. Booking code HMORWA from Jogjakarta to jakarta. On the 3rd sept 16.55 I got sms from lion air which said "Yth. penumpang LION AIR rute JOGJA - JAKARTA tgl 04SEP JT559 jam 13.15 MUNDUR menjadi JT557 jam 14.45. Info hub call center 02163798000. Terimakasih" They change the schedule from 13:15 to 14.45. Positive side, they let me know a day in advance. But why?   • Disgraceful service from Lion Air

    Without doubt the worst airline in he world. I have only flown once - that is all it takes. Flight from Jakarta to Bali was 2 hour late. All passengers were told was it would be 15 minutes late. When we did finally board the plane sat on tarmac for another 45 minutes with no airconditioning - a form of torture for customers. I mean come on this is the 21st century. Air crew hid behind curtains and failed to communicate anything to passengers. The captain ? Was he onboard ? We never heard a word from him not to mention an apology.   • Stolen from and laughed at.

    I would like you to read the post I have just submitted to this website regarding my experience with your company on Wednesday 20th August 2014 whilst flying from Denpasar, bali to Lombok. I had my blackberry phone stolen from my bag whilst it should of been safe being handled by your luggage team as the mobile phone was taken from checked luggage.     I flew from Saigon to Jakarta and unfortunately delay in Singapore, and it makes me unable to catch my flight using Lion Air also even the plane is still available. When i do complain they only provide seat in next morning with additional charge without providing accommodation. Why Lion Air do this to customer ? even the delay is made by them, customer have to pay additional charge ? it seem that Lion Air still get profit from customer even it because of their fault.     I frequently take Lion Air back and forth to Jakarta & Singapore. So far the service is very good and I'm satisfied. However I got a very disapointing experience with Lion Air, with booking number YDFXCR from Palembang to Jakarta.     Website Rip off Bought Tickets online and website froze. Did not get any confirmation number and the tickets were debt to my credit card. No answers to several e-mails and the customer care agent did not speak enough english to be of any help. The customer care agent kept blasting dial tone sounds until I hung up.   • Kindergardeners could organize better than Lion

    We went Bali Jakarta Batam. Arrived late and were bused to a luggage carrousel. Transit desk offered no help and asked us to wait we waited 30 min before a bus cam and bussed us to another building. From there we wasted more time standing in line at another transit desk. (why couldn't the first one do something?) from there we got in line to get a sticker for our boarding card. (again why couldn't that be done before? ) the in line again for security.     I am a frequent traveler and last year made over 40 visits to nine countries mostly in South East Asia. My experience with Lion Air was very disappointing. After doing research on Internet, I firmly believe Lion Air uses unfair practices to rip off consumers. When you purchase tickets online you will find Lion Air, offering good prices. Dear Sir,
Today , January 19 2014, on my flight with Lion Air flight no. JT280 Jakarta (CGK) Kuala Lumpur (KLIA) . After 30 minutes flight , the plane has to return back to Jakarta (CGK) airport due to one of passenger ( young boy) unconscious ( cause unknown). According to eyewitness the boy was already ill before boarding, somehow the parents hide the fact from the flight attendance , even though the flight attendance suspected something wrong but still allowed it to board the plane. This inconvenient nothing compare to what could happen to the boy. Suggestion :
1. Anyone should be fit and conscious when boarding airplane, even kids. Any one suspect un fit to be in the flight should not allowed.
2. fight attendance should have at least First Aider training. with sufficient first aid kit.
3. some detector must be instal in the gate to monitoring passengers body temperature, if any abnormal body temperature be detected .
I hope this can give some input improve and secure the flight in the future.
